Synopsis: Note: this is a Flashback issue.
Forge and Mystique share an intimate moment. Stan breaks in. He warns the rest of the team to never trust Sabretooth, and starts the flashback to Havok's boyhood.
Alex's adoptive parents wish he could replace their all-American boy Todd, who died. But he can't be who he's not.
His dad the football coach is trying to make him the quarterback, but he's no good, and his teammates resent him. Haley defends him, but Sinister, from the shadows, incites Vince to kidnap him and Haley.
They put them in a warehouse and hunt them. Vince admits he threw the rock that hit the car that hit Todd; now he has a gun, shoots Haley in the leg, and goes off to kill the Blandings. Alex catches him just before he shoots the propane tank at their house, and blasts him with his plasma energy, horribly killing him, and Alex is in shock. Sinister appears and explains to him that he's a mutant, erases his memory, and puts a lock on his genetic potential, since he is the inferior, uncontrolled Summers.
